Physical / Virtual Servers

The physical server environments has grown and it is still growing. However it has been found over the years that each physical server has been greatly underutilized – less that 10%. To provide investment protection, some of these physical servers can become virtual servers provided such is a candidate of virtualization allowing optimization.

The method whereby a physical server is partitioned to run several server operating systems, depending on its resource capacity, is called virtual partitioning.

This capability has matured greatly in both the UNIX and Windows environment.

We have been known in the IBM p & x-Series. We will consolidate on this as well as HP x-servers. We will be involved in business analytics so as to help businesses derive value from their data.
